Job Overview

Bahmani Group is seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to lead financial operations and strengthen banking and treasury functions within the organization. This position is designed for finance professionals who have strong exposure to corporate banking relationships, liquidity management, trade finance, and financial strategy.

The role combines operational accounting leadership with strategic financial planning and institutional banking coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, general ledger management, and financial reporting
• Manage relationships with banks and negotiate credit facilities and loan structures
• Handle treasury activities including cash flow monitoring and working capital optimization
• Monitor collateral exposure and coordinate collateral release activities
• Manage trade finance transactions including Letters of Credit (LCs) and Letters of Guarantee (LGs)
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support audit processes
• Prepare financial statements and oversee month-end and year-end closing activities

Requirements

• Proven experience dealing directly with banks on corporate finance matters
• Strong knowledge of collateral management, valuation, and monitoring
• Hands-on experience with trade finance instruments including LCs and LGs
• Strong financial reconciliation and reporting experience
• Experience in treasury operations, liquidity planning, and cash management preferred
• Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage
• Ability to prepare and analyze financial models for debt and balance sheet decisions
