Future Workplace is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its Dubai team. If you’ve got the fundamentals of accounting down and are eager to sharpen your skills in a professional, fast-moving environment, this could be a great next step.
You’ll be involved in the everyday rhythm of the finance function — keeping the books accurate, supporting VAT compliance, and pitching in on month-end and year-end close — while working closely with other departments to keep things running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing
- Maintaining accurate financial records and posting accounting entries
- Preparing invoices, receipts, payments and journal entries
- Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Reconciling bank statements and company accounts
- Keeping supplier and customer account records current
- Assisting with UAE VAT reporting and related documentation
- Supporting month-end and year-end financial closing
- Preparing financial reports and schedules for management
- Filing and organizing financial documents properly
- Coordinating with auditors and internal departments as needed
What you’ll bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Zoho
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- The ability to work independently and hit deadlines
