Junior Accountant

Future Workplace is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its Dubai team. If you’ve got the fundamentals of accounting down and are eager to sharpen your skills in a professional, fast-moving environment, this could be a great next step.

You’ll be involved in the everyday rhythm of the finance function — keeping the books accurate, supporting VAT compliance, and pitching in on month-end and year-end close — while working closely with other departments to keep things running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

• Maintaining accurate financial records and posting accounting entries
• Preparing invoices, receipts, payments and journal entries
• Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Reconciling bank statements and company accounts
• Keeping supplier and customer account records current
• Assisting with UAE VAT reporting and related documentation
• Supporting month-end and year-end financial closing
• Preparing financial reports and schedules for management
• Filing and organizing financial documents properly
• Coordinating with auditors and internal departments as needed

What you’ll bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Zoho
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• The ability to work independently and hit deadlines
