James Cubitt & Partners, a well-established engineering consultancy, is looking to strengthen its Abu Dhabi supervision team with an experienced QA/QC Engineer. This role suits someone who has cut their teeth on UAE building construction projects and knows their way around local quality frameworks inside and out.
You’ll be embedded on-site, working closely with contractors and consultants to make sure every stage of construction meets the standards it should — and that the paperwork proves it. Candidates already based in the UAE with relevant consultancy experience will be given priority.
What you’ll be doing
- Monitoring and enforcing compliance with project quality requirements and specifications
- Running quality inspections and coordinating with project teams to uphold construction standards
- Reviewing project documents, inspection records and quality reports
- Making sure QA/QC procedures are actually followed throughout project activities
- Liaising with contractors, consultants and site teams on quality matters
- Keeping documentation in order and supporting quality audits
What you’ll bring
- Hands-on UAE engineering consultancy and site supervision experience on building projects
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Solid knowledge of ADM regulations, Estidama requirements and QA/QC procedures
- Experience with project documentation and quality management systems
- Current UAE residency
- Strong communication, coordination and reporting skills
