Job Overview
DEC PBC is recruiting an experienced Civil Engineer for construction work in Dubai. The position is intended for a senior professional with at least ten years of UAE civil-engineering experience and the ability to coordinate technical requirements across project stakeholders.
The engineer will help ensure that project work aligns with drawings, specifications, quality expectations, and agreed schedules. Strong site coordination, technical judgment, and communication with consultants and subcontractors are important; Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Review construction drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements before and during execution.
- Coordinate civil engineering activities with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Monitor work progress and help resolve technical issues arising on site.
- Maintain clear technical records, inspection notes, and project documentation.
- Communicate project requirements and follow up on outstanding actions with relevant parties.
- Support compliance with approved plans, quality expectations, and delivery milestones.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Have at least ten years of civil-engineering experience in the UAE.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Understand construction practices, drawings, specifications, and site coordination.
- Demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
- Work collaboratively with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors; Arabic is preferred.
