A leading IT and technology company in Abu Dhabi is looking for a skilled Data Network Engineer to join its technical team. This role is a good fit for someone who’s spent real time hands-on with enterprise network infrastructure and enjoys keeping systems running reliably rather than just reading about it.
You’ll be responsible for configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting network environments, supporting deployments, and resolving connectivity issues as they come up. Practical experience with routing, switching and Extreme Networks technologies will set you apart.
What you’ll be doing:
- Configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting data network infrastructure and connectivity
- Managing routing, switching, VLANs, LAN/WAN and TCP/IP environments
- Monitoring network performance and resolving issues to maximize uptime
- Supporting network installations, upgrades, migrations and infrastructure rollouts
- Working closely with technical teams and clients to keep operations smooth and secure
What you bring:
- Strong hands-on experience in data networking and network infrastructure
- Practical experience configuring and managing switches and routers
- Sharp troubleshooting skills for networking technologies and connectivity issues
- Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving abilities
- Good knowledge of Routing, Switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN and ideally Extreme Networks solutions
