DGTEC is recruiting an onsite End User Support & Site IT Engineer for a client in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is intended for an experienced IT professional who can independently resolve day-to-day technical issues, support business users and maintain reliable site technology services.
Job Overview
The engineer will provide Level 1 and Level 2 end-user support across Windows devices, Microsoft 365 applications and site infrastructure. Responsibilities extend to endpoint management, account access, networking and vendor coordination. The position includes support for executive and VIP users and collaboration with centralized IT teams when issues need escalation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 End User Computing support for Windows laptops, desktops, operating systems and business applications.
- Diagnose hardware, peripherals, printer, Wi-Fi, LAN connectivity and end-user performance problems, following issues through to resolution.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and Office, including authentication and sign-in issues.
- Perform Windows endpoint patching, monitor update compliance and investigate failed updates or patching problems.
- Assist with Active Directory and Microsoft Intune administration and support site networking across LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP and VLANs.
- Provide VPN and site IT support, assist with Cisco switches and Sophos firewalls, coordinate vendors and support executive users.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Four to eight years of IT support or End User Computing experience.
- Fluent English communication is mandatory.
- Strong practical knowledge of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, peripherals and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Windows endpoint patching and update compliance.
- Understanding of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switches and access points.
- Experience with Cisco switch administration, Sophos firewalls, VPN support and remote office operations. CCNA, MS-900, Endpoint Administrator or ITIL certification is preferred.
Skills
Strong troubleshooting, customer service and communication skills are important, along with Microsoft 365 support, endpoint administration and networking fundamentals. The engineer should be able to work independently, prioritize tickets and communicate clearly with users and central IT teams.
Employment Details
This is a full-time onsite IT services position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The estimated salary is SAR 8,000–14,000 per month. The role requires 4–8 years of relevant experience and fluent English. Relevant technical certifications are preferred.
