Job Overview
Saudi Logistics Services Company (SLSC) is recruiting a Facilities Manager for its team in Riyadh. The role oversees daily facility operations and maintenance, with an emphasis on asset reliability, safety, contractor performance, and prompt resolution of operational issues. The successful candidate will coordinate internal maintenance teams and external service providers while planning work according to business priorities.
The role calls for a hands-on manager who can maintain service standards while balancing planned maintenance, urgent repairs, supplier coordination, and site safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee routine facilities operations and the upkeep of company buildings, equipment, and assets.
- Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities to reduce disruption and maintain reliability.
- Supervise contractors, vendors, and service providers, checking work quality and service delivery.
- Monitor building systems, safety practices, and adherence to operating procedures.
- Coordinate maintenance staff, assign priorities, and follow up on open issues.
- Support operational planning and work to resolve facility problems within appropriate timeframes.
- Communicate updates and coordinate with relevant stakeholders on maintenance requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline is required.
- Candidates should have proven experience in facilities management, maintenance operations, and vendor supervision.
- A practical understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance is expected.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Applicants should be able to coordinate contractors and internal teams, organize competing priorities, and manage operational tasks.
- Knowledge of building systems, facility safety standards, and maintenance practices is important.
