Job Overview
Al Ittihad National Private School – Shakhbout is seeking a qualified Grade 2 Homeroom Teacher for English, Mathematics, and Science on a maternity-cover basis, with immediate joining. The teacher will deliver engaging instruction and support the academic and personal development of elementary students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Grade 2 lessons in English, Mathematics, and Science.
- Create a positive, inclusive, safe, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate academic records and participate in school activities as required.
- Adapt classroom activities to support different learning needs and encourage student participation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field with a recognized teaching qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant elementary teaching experience.
- IELTS score of 7.0 is mandatory.
- Strong classroom-management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of UAE school systems is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum planning, student assessment, classroom management, and English, Mathematics, and Science instruction.
