Job Overview
Sobha Construction is seeking a senior Head of Quality Assurance and Quality Control to lead quality functions across major residential construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The role is designed for a highly experienced construction quality leader with a strong background in high-rise residential towers and large-scale developments. The successful candidate will establish and maintain quality management systems, guide QA/QC teams across multiple projects and ensure that construction activities meet project specifications and international standards. The position also requires oversight of audits, inspections, testing, compliance and continuous improvement. Candidates should have more than twenty years of construction QA/QC experience, including a proven ability to lead teams and work with project stakeholders. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related engineering discipline is indicated as the expected qualification. The estimated monthly salary is AED 35,000 to AED 50,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead QA/QC activities across multiple large-scale residential construction projects.
- Develop, implement and maintain quality management systems, procedures and project quality plans.
- Oversee quality audits, inspections, testing and compliance checks throughout construction.
- Ensure that completed work and project processes meet international quality standards and approved specifications.
- Manage and mentor QA/QC teams and promote consistent working practices and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to investigate quality concerns, agree corrective actions and maintain project standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least twenty years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within construction projects.
- Strong experience with high-rise residential tower developments.
- Experience with master development and community projects is highly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of quality management systems, inspection, testing, audits and compliance.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related engineering discipline is indicated as the expected qualification.
Skills and Competencies
- Leadership of QA/QC teams working across multiple projects.
- Knowledge of international construction quality standards, QMS procedures and industry best practices.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, decision-making and continuous improvement skills.
Employment Details
Full-time senior management role based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Estimated salary: AED 35,000–AED 50,000 per month. The position covers quality leadership across major residential developments.
