Health & Safety Officer

Madar Steel Industries is hiring a proactive Health & Safety Officer to support workplace safety and regulatory compliance across its industrial operations. The successful candidate will help identify risks, promote safe working practices, maintain HSE documentation, and contribute to a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with approved health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Conduct routine workplace inspections, identify hazards, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Assist with risk assessments, incident investigations, and implementation of preventive measures.
• Prepare and maintain HSE reports, inspection records, permits, and other safety documentation.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, awareness sessions, and employee training initiatives.
• Report unsafe conditions and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely closure.
• Support management in maintaining compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of relevant Health & Safety or HSE experience.
• Experience in steel, manufacturing, industrial, or similar operational environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident reporting procedures.
• Good communication, reporting, observation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to conduct safety inspections and engage employees at different organizational levels.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
