A Dubai-based company is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its finance team. This is a great opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to grow while supporting day-to-day financial operations, from transaction processing to reconciliations and month-end support.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily accounting transactions accurately and on time
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries
- Reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, and customer accounts
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records and organized documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience; UAE experience preferred
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
