Job Overview:
HTP Tech is seeking a Junior Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity designed for fresh graduates, entry-level candidates, or individuals currently building their accounting experience. The position provides an opportunity to develop practical skills across bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, financial data management, reconciliations, and routine finance operations. The maximum salary is AED 3,000 per month.
Position Summary
The Junior Accountant will assist the finance team with day-to-day accounting activities while maintaining accurate and organized financial records. The role is suitable for someone with a foundation in accounting or finance who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment.
The successful candidate should be detail-oriented, comfortable working with financial information, familiar with Microsoft Office, and willing to learn accounting systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accounting records accurately.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Enter and organize financial transactions and accounting data.
- Perform basic bank and vendor account reconciliations.
- Maintain invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Assist with monthly financial reports and routine accounting schedules.
- Provide support during audits and compliance-related activities.
- Help ensure financial records are properly organized and up to date.
- Support the finance team with daily accounting and administrative tasks.
- Assist with other finance-related activities as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, either completed or currently in progress.
- Fresh graduates and entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial information.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with company and financial records.
- Familiarity with Zoho Books or other ERP/accounting software is an advantage.
- Good analytical and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
