Job Overview
Royal Horizon Group is looking for a Junior Accountant focused on Accounts Payable to join its finance team in Ajman. The position supports supplier-invoice processing, payment activities, recordkeeping, and routine financial tasks in a group business environment.
The role is appropriate for someone with foundational accounting knowledge and good numerical accuracy. One to two years of relevant experience is requested, although fresh graduates may also be considered. Familiarity with UAE VAT is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, check, and process supplier invoices with their supporting documents.
- Maintain supplier records and help organize payment schedules and transaction files.
- Follow up on discrepancies in invoices, approvals, or supporting paperwork.
- Assist with accounting records and routine finance activities as required.
- Use spreadsheets and accounting systems to maintain accurate transaction information.
- Support company procedures and UAE VAT documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related subject.
- Have one to two years of accounts payable or similar experience; fresh graduates may be considered.
- Understand basic accounting principles and accounts payable procedures.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software.
- Demonstrate strong numerical accuracy, organization, teamwork, and deadline management.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.
