Junior Quality Controller opportunity based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This full-time opportunity is suited to a professional who can bring dependable execution, sound judgement, clear communication, and a practical approach to daily responsibilities. The successful candidate will contribute to team objectives, maintain professional standards, and help ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct store inspections covering hygiene, food handling, storage, and product quality.
- Check temperature records, expiry dates, cleaning routines, and stock storage conditions.
- Record findings, report non-conformities, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Support HACCP practices and relevant UAE food safety requirements.
- Work with store teams to reinforce safe handling standards and maintain inspection records.
Requirements and Skills
- Relevant experience: 0–2 years in food safety or quality control.
- Education: Diploma/bachelor’s in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage priorities, work collaboratively, and maintain accurate records.
- Professional conduct, attention to detail, and willingness to follow established procedures.
- A basic understanding of HACCP and food safety standards is required.
