Boilerman
Boilerman, a specialist in marine service and maintenance, is on the lookout for a hands-on Marine Automation Engineer to strengthen its Dubai-based technical team. If you’re the kind of engineer who genuinely enjoys getting under the hood of complex control systems and figuring out exactly what’s gone wrong, this role was built for you.
You’ll be the go-to specialist for marine boilers, burners, inert gas generators (IGGs), and incinerators, providing technical support both in the workshop and on board vessels. It’s fast-paced, technically demanding work in the global shipping industry — and it rewards engineers who like solving real problems rather than following a script.
What the role involves:
- Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting marine automation and control systems
- Diagnosing issues quickly and accurately during vessel visits
- Delivering specialist technical support on boilers, burners, IGGs, and incinerators
- Running inspections, testing, and commissioning of systems
- Partnering closely with clients and the wider engineering team on service delivery
- Producing clear technical reports and keeping documentation up to date
What you’ll bring:
- Solid, practical experience with marine automation and control systems
- Background with burner, IGG, and/or incinerator automation is a strong plus
- A sharp analytical mind and genuine troubleshooting instincts
- Comfortable attending vessels and adapting to a dynamic marine service schedule
- Based in, or able to relocate to, Dubai
A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline rounds out the ideal profile. This is a chance to work across the global shipping industry from a Dubai base.
