Mechanical Draftsman

Ace Cranes & Engineering FZ-LLC is looking for a capable Mechanical Draftsman to strengthen its engineering team in Ras Al Khaimah. This role is a great match for someone experienced in mechanical drafting and 3D modeling, especially within the heavy engineering or metal fabrication space.

You’ll be turning concepts into accurate, production-ready drawings — covering everything from tanks and piping to metal structures and equipment enclosures. Candidates who’ve worked on similar fabrication projects before will find the transition into this role especially smooth.

What you’ll be doing:

• Preparing General Arrangement (GA) and fabrication drawings for tanks, piping, and metal structures
• Developing detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks
• Creating and updating as-built drawings based on finished products
• Putting together Bills of Materials (BOM) for manufacturing and fabrication
• Designing container and enclosure drawings for DG sets, switchgears, and similar equipment
• Working with engineering and production teams to keep drawings accurate and on schedule

What you’ll need:

• A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman
• Strong command of AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Background in heavy engineering or metal fabrication is a plus
• Ability to prepare GA and fabrication drawings for tanks, piping, and structural steel
• Experience with container/enclosure drawings for DG sets and switchgears
