Job Overview
MACS is seeking a Mechanical Site Engineer to supervise mechanical installation and project execution activities in Dubai. The role is suited to an engineer with practical site experience who can coordinate HVAC and MEP works, interpret technical drawings, monitor quality and safety, and help deliver installations in line with project specifications and schedules.
Employment type: Full Time. Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Estimated compensation: AED 8,000–12,000 per month (estimated). Final pay and employment terms should be confirmed during recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise HVAC, MEP, ductwork, piping, and associated mechanical installation activities on site.
- Coordinate daily site tasks with contractors, consultants, and project team members.
- Review technical drawings and monitor work against approved requirements and schedules.
- Arrange or support inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Check that quality and health and safety procedures are followed on site.
- Track progress, resolve site coordination issues, and report risks that may affect delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering is expected.
- Experience in mechanical project execution and site supervision is required.
- Strong understanding of HVAC and MEP systems is important.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and installation details is essential.
- Knowledge of testing, commissioning, quality control, and HSE compliance is needed.
- Good communication, coordination, planning, and practical problem-solving skills are required.
