Job Overview
A healthcare and health insurance organisation in the UAE is recruiting Medical Claims Officers to support claims assessment, pre-authorisation and third-party administrator operations. Applicants with an MBBS or BHMS qualification are invited to apply, including fresh graduates. Key Responsibilities
- Review medical claims and assess treatment eligibility using clinical documents and applicable policy requirements.
- Process pre-authorisation requests and coordinate approval steps with the relevant teams.
- Examine medical records and check that submitted information is complete and suitable for claims evaluation.
- Coordinate with hospitals, clinics, healthcare professionals, insurance companies and internal colleagues.
- Respond to claims-related questions and maintain clear records of decisions and supporting documents.
- Follow established health insurance procedures and operational guidelines when handling each case.
Requirements and Skills
- Hold an MBBS or BHMS qualification.
- Be currently resident in the UAE.
- Be willing to work on rotational shifts.
- Have good communication, analytical and documentation skills.
- Be able to review medical records and clinical information carefully.
- Fresh graduates may apply; experience in claims, approvals or TPA operations is an advantage.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of 30 days or less are preferred.
Qualifications
The required professional qualification is MBBS or BHMS. Candidates should be comfortable working with clinical documentation and understanding medical terminology, treatment eligibility and insurance coverage considerations.
Employment Details
Full-time opportunity in the UAE. The stated monthly salary range is AED 6,000–12,000. The employer welcomes fresh graduates as well as experienced applicants.
