Job Overview
Al Baker Group is seeking an energetic and detail-focused Merchandiser to support its FMCG retail activity in Abu Dhabi. The role involves maintaining product availability and presentation across assigned outlets, checking stock and expiry dates, and coordinating replenishment with retail partners. The merchandiser will also help implement promotional displays and report on stock movement, sales performance, and competitor activity. This position requires regular travel between retail locations, so a valid UAE driving licence and personal vehicle are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit assigned retail outlets and ensure products are available, visible, correctly arranged, and presented according to merchandising standards.
- Monitor stock levels, check expiry dates, identify low-stock items, and coordinate replenishment in a timely manner.
- Maintain positive working relationships with store managers and retail staff to resolve display and availability issues.
- Implement promotional campaigns and ensure displays reflect agreed brand and retail requirements.
- Prepare regular reports on stock availability, product movement, sales observations, and competitor activities.
- Plan visits between outlets efficiently and communicate any recurring market or supply issues to the relevant team.
- Check shelf presentation and product condition during visits and take corrective action within the assigned responsibilities.
Requirements and Qualifications
- UAE FMCG merchandising experience is preferred.
- A valid UAE driving licence and the candidate’s own vehicle are mandatory requirements.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are needed to coordinate with retail partners.
- Applicants must be able to travel between assigned outlets and manage visits independently.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and reliable reporting are important.

Additional Employment Details
