Painting Supervisor

Anglo Eastern Industries FZE, based in Jebel Ali Free Zone, is expanding its production team and wants to bring on a hands-on Painting Supervisor who can run the floor for industrial and structural steel coating work. You’ll be the person production, quality and HSE all turn to when it comes to getting a painting job done right the first time.

This isn’t a desk job. You’ll be on your feet supervising crews through every stage of the coating process, from blasting and priming through to final application, making sure the finish meets spec and the site stays safe. Candidates who’ve worked in the GCC before will have a real edge here, since the pace and documentation standards can differ from other markets.

What you’ll be doing

• Running the daily schedule for industrial and structural steel painting crews
• Keeping a close eye on surface prep, blasting, priming and paint application
• Making sure airless spray and conventional application methods are used correctly for each job
• Working closely with Production, QHSE and the Painting Inspectors so nothing falls through the cracks
• Signing off on coating thickness (DFT) and other quality checkpoints before work moves forward
• Enforcing the company’s health, safety and environmental rules on the shop floor

What you’ll bring

• 3-5 years supervising industrial or structural steel painting crews
• Solid grip on surface prep, blasting, priming and painting technique
• Comfortable running both airless spray and conventional spray operations
• A track record of managing teams and keeping daily output on schedule
• Working knowledge of coating systems, DFT measurement and quality specs
• Background in structural steel fabrication is a plus
• UAE or wider GCC experience will move your application to the top of the pile
