Job Overview
A manufacturing company in Dubai is seeking a Procurement, Supply Chain & Logistics Executive to manage purchasing and support production and project needs. The position suits a professional with procurement, inventory and logistics experience, preferably in aluminium systems, façade, fabrication or manufacturing. Duties include supplier sourcing and negotiation, stock planning, shipment coordination and procurement reporting. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; CIPS is an advantage. Estimated salary: AED 6,500–10,000 per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage requisitions, RFQs, quotation comparisons, purchase orders and delivery follow-up.
- Source aluminium profiles, hardware, accessories and related materials; negotiate prices, terms, lead times and quality.
- Identify suppliers, review supplier performance and monitor raw-material prices.
- Set stock levels, plan replenishment against production schedules and reconcile physical inventory with ERP records.
- Coordinate freight, customs clearance, shipping documents and import/export deliveries.
- Resolve shipment delays, shortages, damages and other supplier issues.
- Prepare procurement, cost-analysis and savings reports and coordinate with internal departments.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
- Have 2–5 years of procurement, supply chain or logistics experience; manufacturing, aluminium, façade or fabrication experience is preferred.
- CIPS or similar certification is an advantage.
- Knowledge of UAE/GCC suppliers, Incoterms, customs and shipping documents is beneficial.
- Have strong negotiation, supplier-evaluation and cost-analysis skills.
- Be proficient in Excel reporting; ERP experience is expected and SAP is an advantage.
- Have good communication and problem-solving skills. English is required; Arabic and a UAE driving licence are advantages.
Skills and Employment Details
Knowledge of procurement, inventory control, logistics and import/export processes is important. The role also requires Excel, ERP, supplier negotiation and the ability to identify cost savings.
