QA Engineer

Tech ECS Limited is seeking a highly experienced and technically sharp QA Engineer to join its team in Dubai in support of airline operations applications and enterprise technology systems. This is a senior-level role requiring a minimum of seven years of quality assurance experience and a proven track record with mission-critical airline software environments.

The successful candidate will take ownership of test planning, functional and integration testing, test automation, defect management, and stakeholder coordination — all within an Agile delivery framework. Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, and airline operations platforms is essential to hit the ground running in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans for airline operations and enterprise applications
• Perform thorough functional, integration, regression, and automated testing across multiple systems and environments
• Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution — ensuring clear communication with development and business stakeholders
• Work as an embedded quality partner within Agile delivery teams, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Validate and test integrations between airline operations systems and connected enterprise platforms
• Coordinate with technical leads and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, define acceptance criteria, and prioritize testing efforts
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA practices, test tooling, and delivery quality across the organization

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant QA engineering experience — required
• Demonstrated experience with airline operations applications and mission-critical enterprise systems — required
• Strong skills in test planning, functional testing, integration testing, and test automation
• Solid experience in defect management and Agile software delivery (Scrum/Kanban)
• Proficiency with Jira and Azure DevOps
• Excellent stakeholder communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

Salary: AED 15,000–22,000/month (Estimated)
