QA Engineer

Ironclad Global is looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed, and technically strong QA Engineer to join its Dubai-based team. You’ll be embedded within a product-focused engineering team, working at the intersection of development and delivery to ensure every feature, fix, and release meets the highest standards of quality and reliability. At Ironclad Global, QA is not an afterthought — it’s a core part of how the company builds and maintains its reputation for delivering exceptional digital products. You’ll have real influence over quality processes and the opportunity to shape how the team approaches testing as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and usability testing across web and mobile platforms.
• Perform thorough manual testing of new features, bug fixes, and releases, ensuring all deliverables meet agreed acceptance criteria before going live.
• Evaluate and implement automated testing tools and frameworks where appropriate to improve test coverage and reduce regression cycle times.
• Identify, document, and clearly communicate software defects — including steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual behaviour, and severity classifications.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve issues quickly, and prevent defects from reaching production.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date QA documentation including test logs, defect reports, test execution results, and release sign-off records.
• Contribute to QA process improvements, testing standards, and best practices as the team grows and product complexity increases.
• Participate in sprint planning, product reviews, and retrospectives to represent the QA perspective across the development lifecycle.

Requirements & Skills:

• Must currently be residing in Dubai, UAE, and be legally eligible for a UAE employment visa — this is a mandatory requirement.
• Demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance and software testing in a professional product environment.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, software testing life cycle (STLC), and defect management processes.
• Practical knowledge of both manual and automated testing approaches; experience with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JIRA, or similar is a plus.
• Experience in the iGaming, gaming, or online entertainment industry is highly preferred and will be a major differentiator.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and an unwavering attention to detail.
• Good communication skills — able to articulate quality concerns and test findings clearly to both technical and non-technical team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
