Job Overview
An aviation engine services organization is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee quality and regulatory compliance across its maintenance operations in Dubai. This full-time senior role is intended for a quality professional with management experience, strong knowledge of GCAA CAR 145 requirements, and previous UAE GCAA Postholder experience. The estimated salary range is AED 30,000–45,000 per month.
The Quality Manager will maintain an effective Quality Management System, support safe and compliant maintenance activities, and work closely with the Accountable Manager and senior leadership. Immediate availability is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Quality Management System and ensure compliance with GCAA CAR 145 requirements.
- Monitor maintenance procedures, activities, and operational systems against applicable regulatory standards.
- Lead internal and external quality audits and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage quality assurance processes, follow up on findings, and support continuing compliance.
- Review and maintain the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and related controlled documents.
- Work with the Accountable Manager and leadership team to strengthen operational quality and safety.
- Promote continuous improvement across maintenance and engineering activities.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Aviation Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of management experience.
- Previous UAE GCAA Postholder experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of GCAA CAR 145 regulations and maintenance organization procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in quality assurance, auditing, regulatory compliance, MOE documentation, and corrective action processes.
- Engine maintenance or workshop experience is preferred.
- Availability to join immediately.
Key Skills
The role requires confident leadership, sound regulatory judgement, audit management, documentation control, and the ability to follow quality findings through to resolution. Familiarity with CAPA, aircraft engine maintenance, and safety-focused continuous improvement will be important for maintaining reliable operational standards.
