Quantity Surveyor

Rocks & Logs Stone Works LLC is strengthening its commercial team in Dubai and is looking for a capable Quantity Surveyor who’s comfortable handling both pre-contract and post-contract work within construction.

You’ll sit at the heart of cost management and contract administration, giving commercial support across the project lifecycle. It’s a role that calls for sharp analytical thinking and a genuine attention to detail, since you’ll be responsible for keeping project costs on track while protecting the company’s commercial interests from tender through to final account.

Experience in natural stone, façade, cladding or fit-out projects would put you ahead of the pack, though solid all-round QS experience is the priority.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing pre-contract and post-contract commercial activity across construction projects
• Preparing interim payment applications, valuations and cost reports
• Handling variations, contractual claims and final account settlements
• Keeping a close watch on project budgets, costs and overall commercial performance
• Supporting contract administration throughout project execution
• Coordinating with project teams to keep cost control and financial reporting accurate

What you’ll bring

• Solid experience in quantity surveying and commercial management
• Hands-on background with interim payments, valuations, variations and claims
• A good grasp of cost control and contract administration
• Experience in natural stone, façade, cladding or fit-out construction is a strong plus
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills

Estimated salary: AED 8,000 – 12,000 per month.
