Senior Accountant

A well-established company in Ajman is looking to bring on an experienced Senior Accountant who can take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations and play a central role in financial reporting, tax compliance, and cost control. This full-time, permanent role suits someone who’s comfortable working across departments and wants a position with real influence over financial processes.

You’ll bring strong technical accounting skills together with hands-on knowledge of UAE tax regulations, and ideally some manufacturing industry background, since product costing is a key part of the role.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing end-to-end accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Preparing financial statements and management reports while keeping records accurate and audit-ready
• Ensuring compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, including timely filings
• Overseeing product costing, covering material, labour, and overhead analysis
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and broader financial planning
• Managing payroll processing and WPS compliance
• Coordinating accounting documentation with HR, Sales, Operations, and Logistics

What you’ll bring

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 4 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting
• Strong practical knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax rules
• Proficiency in Tally Prime; familiarity with Odoo is a plus
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
• Willingness to work on-site in Ajman
