A well-established construction company in Abu Dhabi is on the hunt for a hands-on Senior Accountant to join their finance team. If you’ve got solid experience in construction accounting and you’re looking for a full-time role where you can really own the numbers, this could be a great fit. What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll take charge of day-to-day accounting and record-keeping, making sure everything adds up and nothing slips through the cracks. Month-end closing and reporting will be part of your routine, along with handling VAT, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling accounts. You’ll also maintain financial data using Excel and accounting software, and support the wider finance operations whenever needed. It’s a role for someone who’s comfortable working independently and takes pride in getting the details right.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant
- Construction industry experience is a must
- Strong background in accounting and reporting
- Hands-on knowledge of VAT, reconciliations, and AP/AR
- Comfortable using Excel and accounting software
- Good analytical skills and the ability to work on your own initiative
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
