Senior Accounts Manager

A leading group in the UAE is looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Manager to take charge of accounting operations at its Ajman facility. This role is aimed at finance professionals who’ve built deep expertise in industrial accounting, cost management, and UAE tax compliance over the course of their careers.

You’ll be the one steering financial controls, budgeting, reconciliations, and month-end close, with a strong focus on manufacturing-related accounting. Backgrounds in perfumes, fragrances, cosmetics, FMCG, or manufacturing will be viewed favorably, and fluency in Arabic is required given the nature of the role.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing overall accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting
• Overseeing industrial and cost accounting, including production costs and inventory valuation
• Handling budgeting, financial controls, reconciliations, and month-end closing
• Ensuring compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements, including filings and documentation
• Monitoring accounting records for accuracy across all transactions
• Managing ERP and accounting software systems to support the business
• Preparing financial reports and offering insights to guide management decisions
• Leading and mentoring the accounting team to keep workflows efficient

What you’ll need:

• At least 8 years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience across a minimum of 3 different companies within the last 8 years
• Fluency in Arabic (mandatory)
• Background in perfumes, fragrances, cosmetics, FMCG, or manufacturing is highly advantageous
• Strong hands-on experience in industrial and cost accounting
• Practical knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
• Solid experience with accounting software and ERP systems; Phoenix Accounting System and SAP experience preferred
• Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Ability to join within a maximum of two weeks
