Senior HSE Engineer

Building CO. (BEST) L.L.C, a prominent construction company operating in Dubai, is seeking a highly experienced and credentialed Senior HSE Engineer to lead safety operations across its high-rise building projects. This is a senior position requiring a minimum of ten years of dedicated HSE experience, a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 6 qualification, and mandatory TRAKHEES approval.

The successful professional will take full ownership of the HSE management function — designing and implementing safety frameworks, conducting rigorous site inspections and audits, investigating incidents, and cultivating a culture of safety across all project teams. Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HSE policies, programs, and safety management systems across all active project sites
• Ensure strict compliance with UAE HSE regulations, TRAKHEES requirements, company safety standards, and contractual obligations
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, HSE audits, toolbox talks, and formal safety meetings
• Investigate all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions — identify root causes and drive effective corrective and preventive actions
• Monitor, evaluate, and report HSE KPIs and performance metrics to project and senior management
• Identify systemic gaps in HSE performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the business
• Provide strong technical leadership, mentoring, and HSE guidance to project engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline
• Minimum 10 years of relevant HSE experience with a strong track record in high-rise building construction
• NEBOSH Diploma or Level 6 equivalent HSE qualification — required
• TRAKHEES Approval — mandatory
• Prior experience as a Senior HSE Engineer or similar leadership role
• In-depth knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, risk management, and construction safety best practices
• Relevant professional HSE certifications (e.g., IOSH, CSP) are preferred; immediate availability is a plus

Salary: AED 18,000–25,000/month (Estimated)
