About the Role

SEHA Clinics is seeking a Senior Manager – School Health to provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership across school health services in Abu Dhabi. The role combines programme management, workforce planning, quality improvement, preventive health, stakeholder engagement, and service-performance oversight. This leadership role combines clinical oversight with programme management and service improvement. The successful professional will need to work across healthcare and education environments while keeping student wellbeing and service quality at the centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of school health programmes.
  • Manage clinical and operational activities across school health services.
  • Support workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and performance management.
  • Maintain quality, patient safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Develop innovative school health initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Review audits, service data, performance measures, and improvement plans.
  • Oversee preventive programmes including screening, vaccination, and health education.
  • Collaborate with healthcare, education, and external stakeholders.
  • Support research, evidence-based practice, and continuing professional development.
  • Lead change initiatives that improve service delivery and student-focused care.

Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a Master’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Management, or Nursing.
  • Valid professional healthcare licence.
  • Six to eight or more years of healthcare experience, including at least five years in leadership or management.
  • Experience managing nursing, school health, healthcare operations, and clinical services.
  • Strong workforce-planning, quality-improvement, and programme-management skills.
  • PhD in Nursing is desirable.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulation, preventive programmes, and evidence-based service improvement.

Strong communication and teamwork skills are important, along with the ability to prioritize work, maintain accurate records, and meet operational or reporting deadlines.
