Job Overview
Tech ECS Limited is recruiting a Senior Network & Security Engineer in Dubai to design, secure and support enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience across Cisco, Fortinet and F5 platforms and can keep complex environments performing reliably and securely.
You will work on enterprise environments where uptime and security are critical to the business. Expect a mix of project delivery and operational support, from planning migrations and tuning security policies to resolving incidents under pressure. Senior engineers are also expected to share knowledge with colleagues, document designs clearly and contribute to continuous improvement of the wider technology stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and support enterprise network and security solutions.
- Configure and manage Cisco SD-WAN, routing, switching and voice infrastructure.
- Administer FortiGate firewalls including VPN, NAT, UTM and high availability.
- Configure and tune F5 WAF/ASM security policies.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot complex issues and maintain availability.
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- At least 8 years of hands-on enterprise networking and security experience.
- Experience with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela), BGP, OSPF, VLAN, STP and HSRP/VRRP.
- Practical knowledge of Cisco CUCM, including dial plans and gateways.
- Strong grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPN technologies.
Skills and Competencies
Cisco SD-WAN, FortiGate, F5 WAF/ASM and enterprise network security. Familiarity with Palo Alto, AWS networking, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, Python, Ansible and Splunk is a plus.
