Job Overview
DAR is recruiting a meticulous Site Interior Designer to join its Dubai team. The position is aimed at experienced professionals who understand interior design supervision and can make sure construction on site matches approved design intent.
You will oversee interior works, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, review technical submissions and help uphold quality from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor interior works on site for compliance with approved drawings and specifications
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, samples and technical documents
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams on design matters
- Report site discrepancies, quality concerns and required design changes
- Follow up on inspections, approvals and corrective actions
- Verify that approved materials and finishes are installed correctly
- Track progress, keep clear records and update the project team regularly
- Help resolve technical and design issues as they arise
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of interior design experience including site supervision
- Previous UAE project experience preferred
Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge of interior finishes, materials, specifications and construction methods
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and reading interior drawings
- Familiarity with additional design software is a plus
- Strong organisation, coordination and problem-solving abilities
