Wavelogix is on the lookout for a hands-on Technical Support Engineer to join its Dubai team. This is a great fit for someone who’s spent time in the world of Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) and genuinely enjoys untangling technical problems while keeping customers happy.
You’ll need practical familiarity with barcode systems, RFID setups, printers, and scanners — and experience with big AIDC names like Zebra, Honeywell, and Datalogic will make you stand out. Strong communication skills and a UAE driving licence will also work in your favor.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering technical support and troubleshooting for AIDC hardware and related systems
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining barcode printers, scanners, RFID devices, and other equipment
- Diagnosing and resolving customer technical issues efficiently
- Providing assistance to clients remotely and on-site as needed
- Keeping thorough documentation of support cases and service records
- Delivering a consistently strong customer service experience while resolving inquiries
What you’ll need:
- Hands-on experience in the AIDC industry (required)
- Familiarity with barcode systems, RFID technology, printers, and scanners
- Strong troubleshooting and technical support abilities
- Good communication and customer-handling skills
- A UAE Driving Licence is an advantage
