  • Dhuhr: Midday when it has reached the peak
  • Asr: The afternoon is in its final part.
  • Maghrib: shortly after sunset
  • Isha: Between sunset and midnight

Additionally, Muslims hold a congregational prayer called Jum’ah during Friday evenings at the mosque if Muslims are praying Jum’ah and do not have to perform Dhuhr following the prayer.

How many times should Muslims be praying throughout the day?

Five times a day, All Muslims pray simultaneously with the same face in the same direction.

Salat can be described as the 2nd of the Five Pillars of Islam. It is required for all Muslims in puberty to perform five prayers every day in front of Mecca, the city that is holy to Muslims. Mecca. (Women who are menstruating or recently gave birth aren’t subject to this obligation.)

It’s recommended to have Muslims perform their prayers in a mosque; however, when they’re unable to go to a mosque, they are free to pray anywhere if it’s safe.

Each prayer is made up of a set of obligatory rakats:

The Fajr: two Rakat prayers before the dawn (before sunrise)

Dhuhr: prayer for 4 Rakhat in the middle of the day (after that the sun has reached peak)

Asr: 4 Rakat Prayer during the last portion of the afternoon

Maghrib: 3 . Rakat Prayer shortly after sunset

Isha: Four Rakat prayers between midnight and sunset

Muslims can pray anywhere in a suitable place, not only in the mosque. The majority of shopping centres in Dubai and office towers and community centres are equipped with prayer rooms.

Muslims need to wash their bodies before prayer (wudu). When praying, they should face toward Kaaba. Kaaba, Masjid Al-Haram in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. From anywhere around the globe, where you are facing towards the Kaaba is known as the Qibla.
