Position: Technical Support Engineer
Assent Steel Industries is a specialized structural steel fabrication company supporting large-scale commercial, industrial, and Oil & Gas projects in the UAE. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer with strong hands-on experience in structural steel systems to support tendering, engineering coordination, and project execution activities.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering (mandatory)
Key Requirements:
- Strong understanding of structural steel systems for commercial, industrial, and Oil & Gas projects
- ADNOC project experience is preferred
- Practical, hands-on knowledge of steel fabrication and erection practices
- Familiarity with international codes and standards (AISC, BS, Eurocode, AWS)
- Awareness of UAE authority regulations and client standards
- Ability to identify constructability risks and cost drivers at early project stages
Key Responsibilities:
- Review tender and contract documents including drawings, specifications, and scope of work
- Prepare and validate detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for materials, fabrication, coating, and erection
- Develop technical proposals, method statements, and execution plans
- Manage and respond to RFIs and RFQs
- Act as the central technical coordinator between internal teams, consultants, and clients

- Tekla Structures
- AutoCAD
