    Job Overview

    A company based in Business Bay, Dubai is looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to join its finance team. This role is well-suited for professionals with strong expertise in UAE taxation, financial reporting, and core accounting functions. The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining accurate financial records.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and file VAT and Corporate Tax returns in line with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations
    • Stay updated on UAE tax laws and ensure timely compliance with all statutory obligations
    • Manage accounting records including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
    • Ensure accurate recording and proper documentation of financial transactions
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
    • Assist in budgeting processes and conduct variance analysis to support business decisions
    • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and financial data
    • Liaise with auditors and respond to audit queries effectively
    • Perform regular account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and completeness of financial data

    Requirements

    • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience within the UAE
    • Mandatory proficiency in Zoho accounting software at a professional level
    • Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax regulations and VAT compliance
    • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is required
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently
