🔧 Job Purpose
We are looking for a Plant Operator to join our dynamic team at Emirates Gas L.L.C., part of the ENOC Group. The role involves performing activities related to the receipt, storage, filling, processing, and distribution of LPG cylinders and bulk products, as well as routine maintenance, all in compliance with IMS safety procedures and standards.
🛠️ Principal Accountabilities
Operations
- Identify and handle various products: LPG, EGAP, Propane, Butane, CNG, etc.
- Assess loading/ullage in storage tanks and tankers.
- Load/unload bulk tankers and manage bulk transfers from supply sources.
- Conduct odorizing procedures as necessary.
Maintenance
- Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance of equipment.
- Inspect tanks and plant/customer-site equipment for abnormalities.
- Assist with purging, degassing, commissioning, and decommissioning of tanks and tankers.
- Maintain safety equipment and workplace cleanliness.
🎓 Experience & Qualifications
- Education:
- Science Graduate (Physics/Chemistry/Maths) OR
- 3-year Technical Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering.
- Experience:
- 3–4 years in the LPG industry OR
- 5–6 years in petroleum/petrochemical sector as Operator/Supervisor.
- Skills:
- Familiar with mechanical and electrical tools.
- Knowledge of basic safety procedures and ISO environments.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to read/write English; knowledge of Arabic/Urdu/Malayalam is a plus.
- Basic formal safety qualification preferred.
- UAE Light Vehicle Driving License preferred.
🧍 Candidate Profile
- Age: 25 to 35 preferred
- Physically fit and capable of manual, heat-intensive fieldwork
- No major health issues (e.g., blood pressure, diabetes, back pain, arthritis)
