About the Role:
Al Shafar GRC LLC is seeking a qualified and proactive HSE Manager to lead the Health, Safety, and Environmental operations across its construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations, maintain international standards, and foster a strong safety culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, systems, and procedures in line with UAE regulations and company standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections; identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Lead incident investigations and prepare comprehensive reports with preventive recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law (Federal Law No. 8 of 1980) and standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Deliver safety training sessions and promote a culture of safety awareness.
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to uphold high HSE standards.
• Maintain safety documentation and prepare regular performance reports.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HSE management experience in the construction industry (UAE experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and international standards.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, SAMTRAC, or equivalent are highly desirable.
