    Job Accountabilities

    Below are the primary responsibilities of the role, including estimated time allocation and performance expectations:

    1. Maintenance (Preventive & Breakdown) – 50%

    Responsibilities:

    • Install, assemble, maintain, and test plumbing systems including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and equipment related to water, drainage, heating, gas, and sprinkler systems
    • Identify and troubleshoot plumbing issues, carrying out repairs based on work orders or inspection findings
    • Install and repair plumbing components such as sinks, toilets, valves, and water heaters
    • Execute preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns efficiently
    • Conduct inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify required repairs
    • Follow safety protocols while performing tasks (lifting, climbing, etc.)
    • Coordinate with supervisors and site teams to complete maintenance activities
    • Ensure all work areas are cleaned and inspected upon completion

    Performance Measures:

    • Reduced breakdown frequency and downtime
    • Faster turnaround time (TAT) for repairs
    • Quality and quantity of completed work

    2. Parts Management & Record Keeping – 10%

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain accurate service records, logbooks, manuals, and reports related to maintenance and spare parts
    • Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and materials

    Performance Measures:

    • Accuracy and completeness of records
    • Up-to-date inventory tracking

    3. Teamwork, Coordination & Communication – 10%

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate effectively with team members and support various maintenance activities
    • Demonstrate strong observation skills and attention to detail during tasks
    • Communicate clearly with supervisors and colleagues
    • Show willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks
    • Respond promptly to emergency calls when required

    Performance Measures:

    • Work progress and task completion
    • Supervisor feedback and team collaboration

    4. HSE Compliance & Punctuality – 10%

    Responsibilities:

    • Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards
    • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
    • Report any safety violations or non-compliance
    • Follow hygiene and workplace safety protocols
    • Operate tools and equipment safely

    Performance Measures:

    • Full compliance with HSE standards
    • Attendance and punctuality records
    • Personal safety practices and hygiene

    5. Special Assignments – 20%

    Responsibilities:

    • Carry out additional tasks assigned by the line manager
    • Be flexible to perform duties outside the core area when required
    • Support operational needs across maintenance functions

    Performance Measures:

    • Timely completion of assigned tasks
    • Ability to adapt to varying job requirements

    Job Requirements

    Academic Qualification:

    • Secondary School Certificate / High School (preferred)

    Professional Qualification:

    • Diploma in Plumbing / MEP (preferred)

    Formal Training:

    • Relevant industry experience with on-the-job training

    Practical Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years of overall experience, including at least 3 years in maintenance
    • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, repairs, and installation techniques
    • Good communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
    • Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
    • Ability to handle technical issues efficiently and work in a team environment
