Key Responsibilities:
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in compliance with IFRS and Henkel’s internal policies
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain the general ledger
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Coordinate with Controlling and Treasury teams
- Prepare VAT and other tax filings in line with UAE tax laws
- Manage tax reconciliations and respond to authority queries
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance for tax-related matters
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting and/or taxation
- Good understanding of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations
- Proficiency in SAP or ERP systems (preferred)
- Strong MS Excel and data analysis skills
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to meet deadlines independently
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
