A reputable auditing firm in Dubai is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with UAE experience to support financial operations, VAT compliance, and audit processes. This role is suitable for candidates familiar with local regulations and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations and maintain financial records
- Perform bookkeeping and ensure proper transaction documentation
- Handle UAE VAT filing and compliance
- Prepare and finalize accounts in line with UAE regulations
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in preparing financial reports and analysis
- Support audit processes by preparing schedules and documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams and auditors
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of UAE experience in an accounting or auditing firm
- Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws and accounts finalization
- Experience in reconciliation, reporting, and audit support
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- Immediate joiners preferred
