Job Overview

OPENMINDS Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Lead – Psychology Department to lead and strengthen its multidisciplinary mental health team in Dubai. This leadership position is ideal for a senior psychology professional who is passionate about delivering evidence-based care while maintaining high clinical and ethical standards.

The selected candidate will oversee departmental operations, support clinical excellence, supervise teams, and ensure compliance with DHA and UAE healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical, operational, and professional activities within the Psychology Department
• Ensure delivery of evidence-based psychological assessment and therapy services
• Supervise treatment planning, clinical governance, and quality assurance activities
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate psychologists, therapists, and trainees
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, ethical standards, and patient safety protocols
• Participate in accreditation activities, clinical audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor departmental productivity, scheduling, patient flow, and service performance
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, allied health professionals, and referral networks
• Lead clinical training, CPD initiatives, and professional development programs

Requirements

• Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or equivalent
• Active DHA License or DHA Eligibility as Clinical Psychologist is mandatory
• Minimum 5–10 years of post-qualification clinical experience
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a clinical setting
• Strong communication, leadership, and team management capabilities
• Solid understanding of UAE healthcare standards and DHA compliance requirements
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex clinical cases

Technical Knowledge

Candidates should demonstrate strong knowledge of:

• Psychological assessments and therapy approaches
• Clinical governance and quality assurance frameworks
