Description:
ZenerFire is urgently seeking a dedicated HSE Officer to join our safety team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will support the implementation and maintenance of Health, Safety, and Environmental systems across multiple project sites, ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE regulatory standards. This role focuses on construction, fabrication, commissioning, and oil & gas project environments—requiring a proactive professional who identifies risks early and drives corrective measures effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine site inspections and internal HSE audits to ensure full compliance
• Identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and recommend appropriate control measures
• Support incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and development of corrective action plans
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE training to workforce and subcontractors
• Monitor compliance with permits, PPE guidelines, and high-risk activities such as work at height and confined spaces
• Maintain HSE documentation, prepare reports, and collaborate with project teams for continuous improvements
• Assist with emergency preparedness, drills, and coordination during incident responses
Preferred Skills and Attributes:
• 3–5 years of experience in HSE roles within construction, fabrication, commissioning, or oil & gas sectors
• Strong understanding of UAE HSE regulations and industry best practices
• Effective communication, observation, and reporting skills
• Ability to work on-site, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and enforce safety standards consistently
