Job Overview
A reputable organization in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Import Buyer / Customs & Import Clearance Executive to manage end-to-end import operations. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on UAE experience in customs clearance, logistics coordination, and import documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete import cycle from purchasing to final delivery
- Track shipments and ensure timely arrival and clearance
- Prepare and manage all customs-related documentation
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and clearing agents
- Ensure compliance with UAE customs laws and regulations
- Handle customs clearance efficiently to avoid delays or penalties
- Communicate with authorities and stakeholders as required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in import, procurement, or customs clearance
- Strong understanding of UAE customs regulations and documentation
- Experience working with freight forwarders and clearing agents
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
