About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Manager to join our reputable building contracting company in Dubai. This is a strategic position for an experienced professional capable of managing cost control, budgeting, and contract administration across a range of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cost management and commercial control efforts across multiple projects
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and tender documentation
- Manage contracts, variations, claims, and dispute resolutions
- Oversee procurement and subcontractor negotiations
- Monitor and track budgets, forecasts, and cash flows
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure commercial objectives are consistently achieved
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the construction industry (UAE experience preferred)
- Strong command of local contract laws and cost control systems
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to lead commercial functions within building construction projects
