💸 Salary:
- Minimum: $43.26/hour
- Maximum: $59.21/hour
- Provisional Permit Holders: $39.58 – $54.16/hour
💰 Incentives & Benefits:
- $2,500 Recruitment Incentive for new hires north of the 57th parallel (pro-rated for part-time)
- Northern Allowance: Up to $6,300/year (hourly, non-pensionable)
- Retention Payment: Up to $2,500/year (pro-rated for part-time)
- Temporary housing: Up to 3 months (based on availability)
- Relocation Assistance: Based on eligibility
- Additional Paid Leave: 5 days for professional development after 1 year (pro-rated for new hires)
- Travel Reimbursement: Up to $1,235/year for one round trip to any Alberta location
📝 Job Description:
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities include:
- Delivering safe, high-quality, and holistic care to patients and families
- Using critical thinking and clinical judgment in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Teaching, counseling, and advocating for patients and their families
- Collaborating within an interdisciplinary team
- Promoting health maintenance and patient safety
✅ Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- Active or eligible CRNA (College of Registered Nurses of Alberta) registration
- Current BCLS-HCP (Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider)
- If inactive for 5+ years, must complete:
- CRNA Medication Management (Ch. 1–4)
- NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification
🩺 Additional Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room (ER) experience
⭐ Preferred Qualifications:
- Rural ER experience
- Charge Nurse experience
