Job Summary

Lead high-impact global HR transitions and offboarding processes with precision, especially during RIFs (Reductions in Force) and post-M&A integrations. You’ll work across Legal, Finance, IT, and HR to ensure every action is timely, compliant, and respectful.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute high-volume RIFs and HR transitions globally (US, UK, EU, India)
  • Build and manage timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder coordination
  • Translate legal guidelines into clear, respectful employee communications
  • Oversee logistics: final pay, system access, benefits, and compliance
  • Partner with Legal on complex cases and strengthen legal knowledge

  • Delegating tough conversations
  • Focusing on HR theory or engagement surveys
  • Working in silos
  • Relying solely on Legal for decision-making
  • Slowing under pressure

Requirements

  • 8–12 years HR experience (with at least 2 years as Director or VP)
  • Proven experience managing RIFs and post-M&A transitions
  • Working knowledge of employment law in at least two regions (e.g., US, UK, EU, India)
  • Strong writing skills for clear documentation
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience (payroll, IT, legal, HRIS)
  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • GPHR, CIPD Level 7, or global HR certifications
  • Experience in private equity or fast-paced M&A environments
