About the Role:
Lumber World LLC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant / Cashier to manage daily financial operations and maintain accurate accounting records. The selected candidate will play a vital role in supporting the finance team, ensuring smooth cash handling, and contributing to efficient financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate records of daily sales, receipts, and expenses.
• Reconcile bank statements and cash reports; verify and record payment transactions.
• Prepare invoices, monitor payments, and process vendor bills promptly.
• Identify and report financial discrepancies or irregularities to management.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Support the finance department in maintaining accounting systems and audit documentation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior experience in accounting and cashiering is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software (SAP B1 experience is a plus).
• Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail and trading environment.
