A healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to support dental professionals in delivering high-quality patient care. This role involves assisting in procedures, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring patient comfort throughout treatments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during dental procedures and treatments
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms before and after procedures
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
- Record patient histories and maintain accurate documentation
- Provide chairside assistance and support patients during treatments
- Ensure patient comfort and high standards of care
- Monitor and manage dental supplies and inventory
- Follow DOH regulations and clinic policies
Requirements
- Valid DOH license or eligibility (mandatory)
- Diploma or certification in Dental Assisting or related field
- Prior experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
- Knowledge of dental tools, procedures, and sterilization practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer knowledge for patient records
