USBC Interiors in Dubai is seeking a technically precise Joinery Draftsman to support its expanding interior fit-out projects. This role is built for someone who can translate design intent into production-ready drawings that factory and site teams can act on with confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed joinery shop, fabrication, and installation drawings.
- Develop production drawings, material take-offs, and related technical documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, engineers, and production teams throughout project lifecycle.
- Review architectural and interior drawings to verify technical accuracy.
- Conduct site measurements and revise drawings accordingly.
- Prepare as-built drawings and keep revision records up to date.
- Provide technical guidance to production and site teams during execution.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in joinery or interior fit-out projects; UAE experience preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Solid understanding of joinery materials, woodworking techniques, and production processes.
- Experience with custom furniture, millwork, or cabinetry is an advantage.
- Familiarity with SketchUp, 3ds Max, or SolidWorks is beneficial.
